You can notice painless yellow or white spots on different parts of your toe. This colored spots are usually caused by the dislodgment of the skin beneath the nail and might be the symptoms of fungal infection.
One of the only early visible toenail fungus symptoms is a change in color of infected toenail. Discoloration results in the toenail becoming white, yellow or even brown. Toenails darken and become brittle and thick.
Another typical symptom associated with toenail fungus is that toenail fungus often makes the toenail brittle. Toenail may have jagged edges and a tendency to crumble easily.
You can also notice the increase in thickness of the toenail.
